Men’s Empowerment Group - Overcoming out of control SExual Behavior
Are you struggling with sexual behaviors you’d like to change?
The Healing Group is accepting clients for our Men’s Empowerment Group! This treatment program will address unwanted compulsive sexual behaviors and how to achieve living within your personal values.
This group will be led by AASECT certified therapist Braxton Dutson, LCSW, and will meet weekly in our Salt Lake County office.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
Unwanted compulsive sexual behaviors are commonly referred to as a sex addiction. Feeling out of control with sexual behavior can cause relational challenges, erode self-esteem and self-worth, and interfere with sexual function.
Over the course of six months, this group will help you:
Improve awareness of distressing behavior
Confront sexual preoccupations
Identify and build your sexual health plan
Understand triggers
Learn about pleasure and connection
Confront and reduce shame messages
Develop camaraderie and accountability within the group
Regain control of your life and feel HOPE
The Men’s Empowerment Group is appropriate for those who struggle with pornography addiction or feel out of control with their sexuality in other ways. This group is not appropriate for clients who are engaged in non-consensual behavior.

When: Mondays, 7:00-8:30 pm
Where: The Healing Group - Midvale Office
Cost: $85/week
