Mindful
Creativity
An experiential open studio art group for mindfulness, emotional regulation, and creative exploration.
About The Group
This is an experiential open studio art group. It is not a clinical art therapy group nor an art class. It is a creative space led by an art therapist, designed to help you cultivate and maintain a therapeutic creative practice.
An “open” group means participants may join at any time and register for as many weeks as they would like. The group will be made up of different people week to week while the facilitator maintains a consistent structure and shared agreements that support safety, continuity, and creative exploration. The group is limited to 5 participants per week.
This group also utilizes an "open studio" approach, which encourages self-directed creative exploration in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. Participants are invited to engage with art materials at their own pace and in their own way, emphasizing process, mindfulness, expression, and personal meaning over artistic skill or finished product.
