Perinatal Education & Support Group


Join our 8 week perinatal education and support group! This group is led by a licensed therapist and is a combination of education and support customized for the pregnancy and postpartum period.

This education and support group is designed to provide evidence-based education, practical information, and resources related to pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and early parenthood. Sessions are educational in nature and focus on increasing understanding, preparation, and access to support during the perinatal period.

This group is offered as an open, rolling series, meaning participants may join at any point. Each group session stands alone while also contributing to a broader understanding of perinatal health and well-being.

Program Overview

Over the course of 8 weeks, this program covers key topics commonly encountered during pregnancy and the postpartum period, including:

  • Postpartum mood and anxiety education 

  • Coping strategies and stress regulation 

  • Birth and postpartum planning 

  • Trauma-informed postpartum care 

  • Identity changes and matrescence 

  • Physical recovery and sexual health 

  • Relationships, communication, and support systems 

  • Crisis planning and access to resources 

This program is educational and does not replace individualized medical, mental health, or therapeutic care.

WHEN: Wednesdays, 5:00-6:00 pm.
