Women’s Sexuality Education Group
Did the “birds and the bees” talk leave you with more questions than answers?
If so, you aren’t alone!
Many of us grew up in environments that kept sexual topics hush-hush. Add to that conflicting messages of sexuality from media and other outside sources, and you have a recipe for shame, confusion, and misunderstanding when it comes to your own sexuality and sexual health. This can impact our feelings of self-worth, self-image, our closest interpersonal relationships, and the way we parent.
This 8-week sexual health education series is designed for women who want to learn, explore, and have open conversations about sexual health in a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment. Led by Ashley Arnett, sex educator, this group covers a wide range of topics to help you better understand your body, your values, and your wellbeing. You can read a little bit more about Ashley here.
The topics we’ll cover are:
Body Image
Anatomy & Vocabulary
Pleasure, Fun, & Fantasy
Solo Sex & Body Competency
Sexual Values & Shame
Desire, Arousal, & Orgasm
Communication & Consent
Tools & Foreplay
