Summer is winding down and the back-to-school prep is in full swing. Backpack? Check. New shoes? Check. School supplies? Check. Meet the teacher? Check. Mental health check-in….wait, what?

Starting school again can be a big transition for the whole family. Routines and expectations change, there are added pressures and anxieties, and it can take a while to get back into a regular rhythm. Being intentional about this shift can help smooth out any bumps as well as provide support for kids who may be struggling.
